Most people come to Pembrokeshire to rest, unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the stunning coast and countryside. But this weekend will see some adrenalin junkies heading here to take part in what is one of the toughest events of its kind – Ironman Wales.
It’s exhausting just thinking about the 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run that hundreds of competitors undertake, starting on Tenby beach before heading off into the spectacular neighbouring countryside.
But here at Bluestone National Park Resort we’ll be welcoming some of the competitors this weekend, their friends and family and, of course, many spectators.
